Sunshine Basket Update - Kathy has taken all the items collected for Juanita Smith. Juanita was very appreciative. We are now collecting items for Margie Simmerman. If you would like to particiate, please bring small wrapped gifts by Sunday, Jan. 25th. Some suggestions include: unscented lotions, body wash, candles, etc(Margie has allergies to things with a fragrance); devotional or inspirational books; gift cards for Lifeway or other Christian bookstores;l restaurant gift cards for take-out places(their house is in an uproar because of the building addition project for the apt for John's parents); note cards; etc. Or you could just send her a card to let her know that she is missed.
Cookbook - Christy is collecting recipes for the cookbook. I will bring in a basket to be placed on the table at the back of the sanctuary for collecting them.

Treasurer's Report: $188.85...this includes some extra money collected for food gift cards earlier this month. Thanks to all to donated..we got enough to provide several gift cards for Tommy & Debi Cole and put the balance in the treasury to provide for future situations.
Reminder of the Baby Bottle Blessings for Crisis Pregnancy Center in Concord - collect your loose change in an 8-oz cup or jar & turn in to Kathy Efird in a zip-lock bag in February or March.
We only have one lesson left in our Women of the Bible study book. We will split that lesson into two parts, covering days 1 & 2 in February(We need a volunteer to lead the February lesson) and days 3,4 & 5 in March - led by Beth Dagenhart. Mary has copies of Lesson 6 that we will cover in February & March, if anyone who doesn't have a book and would like a copy.
Our February meeting will be February 9.
