Treasurer’s Report: $438.28
Old Business: Kathy reminded us that the Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Boxes will be due Nov 16, and we might need to get our plastic boxes now before Oct. Virginia learned that Samaritan’s Purse will provide empty boxes if we get our order in by April. We collected the recipes that were brought in for the cookbook and will continue collect them throughout the year.
New Business: Stephanie Morgan brought up a need suggested by Pastor David Hix, to have a Hostess Committee that will work with W.O.C. to provide the practical side of social functions, such as Anniversary Sunday, 5th Sunday functions, Choir parties, etc. making sure that a food list is distributed, set-up & clean-up is planned and any necessary supplies are on hand prior to the occasion. She asked for volunteers to think about serving in this capacity.
Jesus Fest: Committee of Victoria Ellis, Amy Hudgens & Michelle Bailey
Bible Study for the Year: Our Ephesians study guide will be $9.76 each. You may pick them up from Stephanie and if you wish to pay be check, make it out to the church.
